Presents The BVI Match Racing Championships For the Pete Sheals Memorial Trophy
Sat 3/ Sun 4 October ‘09
To be raced in IC24’s provided by Racing in Paradise.
All starts in Harbour or off Road Reef - racing to be held in Sir Francis Drake Channel off the Royal BVI Yacht Club or in Road Harbour.
Entry fee $150 per team plus a $500 damage deposit.
No more than 5 people per team. Weight 700 – 800 lbs.
Rules and judging brush-up, Skippers’ meeting and weigh in from 6:00 – 8.00 pm at RBVIYC Friday 2nd .

Adult Learn to sail weekends in the IC24. Saturday 31 October / Sunday 1 November and Saturday 5th / Sunday 6th December.
9.30am - 4.30pm. $200 for members ($300 for non members, which includes RBVIYC membership to 31 Dec 2009).
Max 4 person, Min 2.
This course will give you the basic skills to safely sail an IC24. Pre registration and payment is required to emma@rbviyc.com or 494-3286.

Presents The William Thornton’s Virgin’s Cup Race Sat 10 October ‘09
First Start 11.00 a.m. in Road Harbour or Sir Francis Drake Channel off the RBVIYC
Skippers’ meeting 6:00 – 8.00 pm at RBVIYC Friday 10th. Sailing instructions available at that time.
The Royal
BVI Yacht Club maintains an active calendar of racing, cruising, angling
and social events, as well as sailing training programmes for young
and old alike.
The Club
is also the primary sponsor of the annual BVI
Spring Regatta and Sailing Festival held in early April each year
featuring five days of racing in the Sir Francis Drake Channel for Racing
classes, non-spinnaker classes, multihulls, and bareboats.
